He’s had just one start – which was in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson after the 2011 season – but Bridgeport High alum Wes Tonkery is making the most of an opportunity with injured Will linebacker Brandon Golson out with a shoulder injury.
The fifth-year senior not only has been running with the first team defense, but he’s been dominating. WVU Defensive Coordinator Tony Gibson said Tonkery has had the best defensive camp of any player, according to this MetroNews.com report.
