WVU Loses Key Bench Player; Teddy Allen to Transfer

West Virginia University basketball coach Bob Huggins announced today that freshman forward Teddy Allen has asked for his release and plans to transfer.
Allen, a native of Mesa, Arizona, played in 35 games in 2017-18, averaging 7.0 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.
“We thank Teddy for his contributions to Mountaineer basketball,” Huggins said. “We wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
