West Virginia University Football Player Cited over Weekend for Bringing Gun to High School Event

According to MetroNews, a West Virginia University football player has been cited for having a gun with him at a high school sporting event in Charleston, according to police.
Derrek Pitts, 19, of South Charleston, was cited at George Washington High School Saturday night.
Pitts was attending the George Washington versus South Charleston basketball game..
