Delays Likely, Caution Suggested as Lane Closures Set to Begin on Interstate 79 North of Bridgeport

Lane Closure One
 
The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be a Lane Closure on Interstate 79 from the West Virginia-Pennsylvania State Line to Mile Post 155.50 beginning on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 5 p.m. through Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 5 p.m. (24/hr). 
 
The purpose for the closure is for road repair and paving.  Work will be performed on Interstate 79 Southbound Outside Lane (slow lane).  The Southbound Inside Lane (fast lane) will be open at this time. 
 
A Lane Closure will be in place for the duration of this phase of work.  Expect delays.  Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.  Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule. 
 
Lane Closure Two
 
The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be a Lane Closure on Interstate 79 from Mile Post 155.50 to the West Virginia-Pennsylvania State Line beginning on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 5 a.m. through Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 5 p.m. (24/hr).
 
The purpose for the closure is for road repair and paving.  Work will be performed on Interstate 79 Northbound Outside Lane (slow lane).  The Northbound Inside Lane (fast lane) will be open at this time.  A Lane Closure will be in place for the duration of this phase of work.  Expect delays.  Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.  Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
