For those visiting Bridgeport who have already sampled the city's fare or those who are residents of the city and beyond looking for a trip for a new culinary experience, here's a recent edition of WBOY's Restaurant Road Trip. This week, the restaurant in question isn't too far away. In fact, it's another one right in the heart of Bridgeport. Check it out.

The gifts, the parties, the baking, it can all lead to Holiday stress. But on this week's restaurant road trip we are taking you to a place that will satisfy your Christmas sweet tooth without the kitchen mess.
"They come in and I'm like 'How can I help you?' and they're like 'where are your pepperoni rolls?' or they'll be like 'I heard you had the best 
fudge," said Christy Shaffer, Twinkles and Sprinkles owner.

Those are some of the items you'll find at Twinkles and Sprinkles. The bakery offers delicious sweets for all occasions with a personal touch.
"My bakery is a little different because we customize pretty much everything for everybody. They'll call me and I get to know what they want, what colors, what they are into. They'll just say 'Just customize the cake. I trust you, I just love all your stuff."
The bakery located on Main Street in Bridgeport recently opened its doors and customer can't seem to get enough.
"Oh! It's amazing and we've become friends very quickly. She's just so accommodating and so creative. She won't say no to anything. So, whatever you want her to put on that cake or however you want her to decorate it, she is going to get that done for you," said Melissa Miller, customer.
