Local Food, from Produce to Beer, Proving Recipe for Success for Bridgeport's Meagher's Irish Pub

It's another week for WDTV's "Tasty Tuesday" report and for those living in Bridgeport or visiting, here's a restaurant folks may want to take a quick trip to visit. This week's featured eatery is right here in the city limits and is still just a few years old.

Tim and Jade Meagher opened Meagher's Irish Pub in 2014. The restaurant serves Irish-American fare, as well as a variety of craft beers and whiskey.
"It's all local," said Meagher's general manager Cato Caton, "we use local beers, local produce and all local food."
The couple opened the restaurant to bring something new to the area, while staying true to their Irish roots and their love of food.
"I'd say our theme is fresh food, good times, and friends and family," Caton said.
