Bridgeport Public Library : “A Christmas Carol” for Children!

Bridgeport, WV – A live action performance of “A Christmas Carol” will occur on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 6:00pm at the Bridgeport Public Library! The show is geared towards an audience of children, but all are welcome to attend and admission is free! The Hamstead Stage Company will provide the evening’s entertainment.

About The Hamstead Stage Company’s rendition of “A Christmas Carol”: Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” is a story that is both timeless and universal. It is the delightful tale of the miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, and his clerk, Bob Cratchit. Through visits from the spirits of the season, Scrooge learns the true meaning of Christmas. In this charming tale, we hope to educate the students about the class system of Victorian England and encourage them to help others that are less fortunate than they are. This performance is geared for elementary and middle school students, grades K – 8.
