2014 Life Starts with "Smart Choices" SUMMER BASH

It is my pleasure to invite you to join the 2014 Life Starts with "Smart Choice" summer event. I hope that we can work together on providing the parents and their kids the tools to make smart choices for their futures. Smart Choices is a community effort to provide our children and their parents with the tools to make better decision for their futures. We do this by providing them with handbooks through out the year that delivers, facts on the dangers of drug, alcohol and texting and driving, also bullying and suicide prevention.The program has become hugely successful over night mostly in part to the fact that the program requires the parents participation. Starting this fall Smart Choices will be reaching nearly 20,000 students and their parents and covering six counties in West Virginia. This years event will include speakers on all subjects we highlight in our program and a distracted driving simulator running the entire event. However to ensure the families have fun we will also have three featured bands, a DJ, dancing, free pool, live radio feed with giveaways, a chance to win a new car and a trip for the entire family, raffles, 50/50 drawling, prizes every half hour, free food and so much more. This event will be sure to reach thousands of people and will be promoted in all six counties we are currently in or will be in by years end and will allow "Smart Choices" to provide more students and families with the program.
