Fairmont State University and the Greater Bridgeport Convention & Visitors Bureau will be hosting “Family Day,” on Saturday, April 26 when Fairmont State takes on Notre Dame College in a Mountain East Conference doubleheader at the Bridgeport Recreation Complex.
The celebration will get underway at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday with a first-pitch ceremony and will end with a fireworks display, presented by Dan Cava’s Toyota World, at dark.
Admission is free to all fans. In addition to the fireworks, there will be a free tailgate for all fans and kids will have the opportunity to run the bases.
The Fairmont State Alumni Association will also be on hand, giving away t-shirts and other great prizes.
