We will be presenting "The One With Courage Award" to a very special recipient who has been a great advocate on behalf of children and families in the community. This year's honorary Chairwoman is West Virginia University's First Lady Beth Clements.
The Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center is a non-profit agency that advocates for the young victims of abuse and neglect by providing a child-friendly, safe environment where children and their families can be interviewed, educated and healed. We coordinate a multidisciplinary approach to serious child abuse allegations in Monongalia County. MCCAC, collaborated with other professionals in our community, want to ensure that children are not further victimized by the system designed to protect them.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy an evening out and support a great cause in your community. For more information, please contact the MCCAC at 304-598-0344 or moncocac@comast.net. Also make sure to follow us on Twitter for all our updates at @MonCoCAC!
