Bridgeport Public Library : Chess Tournament!

Bridgeport, WV – The Bridgeport Public Library will host its first chess tournament on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. The Harrison County Chess Club, led by Robert Greer, sponsored and organized the event. All chess enthusiasts and competitors are invited to the event!

The Tournament will operate under the Swiss System and have three rounds. Registration runs from 12:00pm to 12:15pm if not registered prior to January 11, 2014. The fee for rated, United States Chess Federation members is $15.00. Registration is free for all other entries. Trophies will be awarded to top individuals and to the top female in each section. About the Harrison County Chess Club The Harrison County Chess Club meets Thursday from 7-9 pm at the Bridgeport Benedum Center.
