Bridgeport Public Library : Deborah Gladwell Book Signing!

Bridgeport, WV – Deborah Gladwell, WV author of The Adventures of Shy Spy Time Traveler, a Christian themed children’s book, will be at the Bridgeport Public Library on Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. About Deborah Gladwell Author, Deborah L. Gladwell’s, first book The Adventures of Shy Spy Time Traveler was released by Tate Publishing on January 29, 2014. Deborah is a Sunday school teacher at a small country church located in Huttonsville, WV. As a Sunday school teacher she was inspired to write Christian story lessons for her Sunday school class. Deborah uses a combination of mystery, humor and suspense that keeps the young reader riveted to the story as she teaches about the bible and biblical principles. She has written many story lessons for her students over the years, some which evolved into series of lessons with actual chapters. This is how, The Adventures of Shy Spy Time Traveler, came about. Deborah is from the small town of Downsville, NY, located in the Catskill Mountains. As a child she lived in many different places in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut and West Virginia before moving to Huttonsville, WV in 1976. Her roots are deeply planted in West Virginia and she considers Huttonsville to be home. Deborah Thompson Gladwell attended Braxton County High School as a junior and is a 1972 graduate of Lewis County High School-Weston, WV. She is the wife of Kenneth Gladwell and the proud mother of two grown sons, Kevin Gladwell of Fairmont and Eric Gladwell of Huttonsville. About The Adventures of Shy Spy Time Traveler The 110 page book features a mischievous dog named Shy that accidently becomes a stowaway on a time traveling machine. He meets a time traveler named Sam and travels back in time to study Moses, the 10 plagues of Egypt and the parting of the Red Sea. Shy also has dog buddies that have a way of getting into trouble as only dogs can do. Some of their antics are hilarious. You will be swept away with excitement as you travel with Shy and Sam on their many voyages back in time, and learn what it was like to live under the rule of Egypt, and what Moses had to go through to free his people.
