Charles Pointe Hospitality is proud to announce the appointment of Dee Johnson to Director of Sales for the company's hotels, food services, catering, and conference planning.

 

"Dee Johnson comes to Charles Pointe with more than 20 years experience in sales, service, and event planning. She will take a leadership role in helping families, businesses, and organizations of all sizes plan their events and special activities right here in Bridgeport," said Steve Ludwig, Director of Hospitality for Charles Pointe,

 

Charles Pointe Hospitality is a full service organization that provides food services, off site catering, conference and meeting space, and hotel accommodations. Current projects include Bridgeport Conference Center, Mia Margherita Coal Fired Pizzeria and Microtel Inn and Suites Bridgeport. Charles Pointe Hospitality is part of Charles Pointe - an award winning $1.5 billion Master Planned Community consisting of nearly 1,700 acres located in the city of Bridgeport.

 

Johnson has more than 15 years experience in the hospitality industry. Over the last 10 years, she served as Director of Sales and General Manager of the Courtyard Marriott at White Oaks then Corporate Director of Sales and Revenue Management for Shaner Hotels in Bridgeport, Charleston and Pennsylvania.

 

From 2008 to 2013, Johnson served as the Director of Sales and Conference Services at the Bridgeport Conference Center.

Johnson is a native of Bridgeport and a graduate of Bridgeport High School. She is also a graduate of Fairmont State University with a degree in Marketing and Management. She is married to Rick Johnson, Head Men's and Women's Swim Coach at Salem University. Dee and Rick are the proud parents of one daughter, Marra, who was a standout athlete at Bridgeport High School. Marra is currently a freshman and scholarship athlete at Wheeling University.
