Dr. Randall Hawkins, Bridgeport High School Class of 1974, is Named President of PVH Medical Staff

Randall Hawkins, M.D., FACP was recently elected to the position of Medical Staff President at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. 
 
Dr. Hawkins, graduate of the Bridgeport High School Class of 1974, serves as an internal medicine physician at PVH.  In his role as Medical Staff President, Dr. Hawkins will work with the medical staff and Board of Trustees to advance the hospital’s clinical agenda and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care for the people of the Ohio Valley Region. 
 
Dr. Hawkins replaces Timothy Damron, M.D., FACC, an invasive cardiologist at PVH, who will now serve as Vice President of the Medical Staff.  John Wade, M.D., FAAOA, will serve as Secretary/Treasurer.
 
Hawkins has provided medical care at Pleasant Valley Hospital since 1990, holding various leadership positions.  Dr. Hawkins is a board certified internal medical physician with more than 32 years’ experience.  He earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Joan C Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.  Dr. Hawkins is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
