Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council is proud to announce that Cara Noonan has been awarded the Appreciation Pin, a national Girl Scouts volunteer award recognizing exceptional service that supports the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) within a designated geographic area.

The Appreciation Pin is given to adult volunteers who have made a significant impact in areas such as membership development, volunteer support and community visibility—while exemplifying the values of inclusivity and leadership.

Noonan has been a beacon of inspiration within her community, empowering not only her Girl Scouts but also her fellow volunteers. She has instilled lifelong goals, educational values, and the principles of the Girl Scout Promise and Law in the girls she leads.

Through her leadership, Noonan has fostered a supportive environment where girls and volunteers thrive, forming lasting friendships, acquiring critical leadership skills and engaging in meaningful service projects year after year.

“Cara Noonan is the definition of a dedicated and inspiring leader,” said Beth Casey, Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council. “Her commitment to the Girl Scout mission has empowered countless girls and volunteers to succeed with integrity and service. We are honored to recognize her with the Appreciation Pin.”

Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council extends its congratulations to Cara Noonan and expresses sincere gratitude for her continued dedication and service to Girl Scouts.
