On Monday, West Virginia Governor Jim Justice ordered all “non-essential” businesses to shut down in order to slow the spread of COVID-19. Meadowbrook Mall will comply with that order, closing for business at 6 p.m. today. It will reopen when the governor’s order is lifted.
While state officials have imposed restrictions on restaurants, prohibiting customers from “dining in”, the following eateries remain open and are offering meals on a take-out or delivery basis:
· Outback Steakhouse
Several other businesses have been designated as “essential” and will therefore be open. They include:
· BB&T Bank (Drive-thru, with lobby available by appointment)
· National Tire & Battery
· Sears Auto Center
· Target
· Verizon
Unfortunately, the current circumstances make it difficult or unadvisable to conduct certain events that would normally take place at this time of year. Public events have been cancelled until further notice. The management staff of Meadowbrook Mall sincerely regrets having to cancel popular events and apologizes for any disappointment this may cause.
