A new season of Little Explorers begins Wed., Jan. 15 at Benedum Civic Center. A program of Bridgeport Parks and Recreation, Little Explorers is geared for children ages 3 to 8. Each four-week session focuses on a different aspect of science.

 

Instructor Anita Jesmer said the upcoming session will focus on endangered species. Children will be studying pandas, tigers and whales, among other species. Crafts will include making soap and animal masks. The price for the four-week session is $45. Two class times are available: 6-7 p.m. Wednesdays or 10-11 a.m. Thursdays.
