City of Bridgeport Searching for New Crossing Guard to Assist with Students at Johnson Elementary School

If you are interested in working with young children and making sure they are safe, then the City of Bridgeport has just what you are looking for.
Currently, the City of Bridgeport is accepting applications for a Crossing Guard at Johnson Elementary School. The individual that is chosen will work during the school year for a period of one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon.
To apply for the position, fill out and application and submit it to the City of Bridgeport Human Resources Department via email at hr@bridgeportwv.gov. The application deadline is Sept. 12, 2026
