Trio of Simpson Elementary Students Among Winners of 2026 West Virginia Young Writers Contest

A trio of Bridgeport students, all from Simpson Elementary School, were among the Harrison County winners in the 2026 West Virginia Young Writers Contest, according to the Harrison County Board of Education.
The three students, listed below with other winners, will be recognized at an upcoming Harrison County Board of Education meeting. The meeting, which is open to the public, is set for April 7.
Grades 1-2:

Grades 3-4:
