Time Travel: 1980s' Downtown Bridgeport Aerial View and Downtown Clarksburg in the Evening in 1933

This photo, believed to be from the 1980s, shows an aerial view of a couple of key city roadways. The main road to the right is Main Street, while Worthington Drive can be seen to the left. Notice there is no basketball court near the Bowstring Bridge among many other differences from today. This photo was taken from the 1933 Washington Irving Yearbook "Reminiscences" and shows Pike Street. A couple of visible signs are those of Caplan's and the Waldo Hotel, both on the right side of this image. Photo from the yearbook came courtesy of Doug Gray.
