The Ellis Drive In was still hopping, along with the Sky Castle, in 1963 as this photo shows. The restaurant was doing business as well and, as the sign says, had broasted chicken for sale.

 The tiny community of Brandonville in Preston County, which is about a mile north of Bruceton Mill, was once home to this beautiful Methodist Church. The church is long gone, and the exact date of this photo is unknown. If anyone has any memories of this church, add them to the comment section below.
