Time Travel: Not One, but Two Views of BHS Project to Put Turf at Jamison Field by Going across Track

By Dick Duez on March 22, 2020 from History Blog via Connect-Bridgeport.com

This is a slightyl elevated view of a photo from 2005 showing a wooden bridge that was put in place to allow heavy equipment to be transferred on to Wayne Jamison Field to allow the removal of the old grass surface and installation of the new artificial surface that has now been in place for 15 season.
This is the view contractors had when heading on to the field. Some of the heavy equipment can be seen in the background while the base of the field prior to the installation of the turf can also be seen.

Editor's Note: This ongoing photo feature of pictures from Bridgeport and throughout the Mountain State is part of local historian Richard "Dick" Duez's collection. Duez, the unofficial historian of Bridgeport, would appreciate any scanned photos emailed to him for use here or to include in his ongoing efforts to preserve local history.
