Time Travel: Restaurant in Main Street Site of Current Dairy Queen in 1987 and Jerry West on Campus

By Dick Duez on August 02, 2020 from History Blog via Connect-Bridgeport.com

This is the building that currently houses the Main Street Dairy Queen. This photo is from 1987, and at the time the location was home to T&L Hot Dogs. T&L still has a location on Main Street today.
This photo from the West Virginia & Regional History Center, shows a young Jerry West, right and teammate Willie Akers in Morgantown. Other details of the photo are not known.

Editor's Note: This ongoing photo feature of pictures from Bridgeport and throughout the Mountain State is part of local historian Richard "Dick" Duez's collection.
