Time Travel: Virginia Avenue Train Wreck in 1967 and State Police Assisting at 1944 Shinnston Tornado

This photo, believed to be from 1967, is of a train wreck that took place at the Virginia Avenue crossing just off of Route 50 near what today is the Main Street Station business  As one can tell, the incident drew quite a crowd. If anyone remembers this, or if they have information regarding an exact or even correct date, please feel free to add in the comment section below.
This photo, from an old edition of Golden Seal Magazine, shows a West Virginia State Trooper assisting in the wreckage of the Shinnston Tornado from 1944. The incident left 103 people dead throughout the region as a result of the deadly tornado.
