This photo believed to be from the 1940s, shows Boy Scout Troop 69 on the steps of the Simpson Creek Baptist Church. From left, front row, are Bill Bowen, Carl Linn, Bill Lodge, John Lodge, Bobby Woofter, "Jumbo" Reed, Jim Taylor, Calvin Herrington and Jim Dunking. Second row, from left, includes John Fowler, Jim "Bucky" White, Reitz Sayers and John Ayers. Third row, from left, is Scoutmaster Brooke Riley, Edward Griffin, Willis Warder, Louis Hooper, Tom Kinney and Delmer Fesler, Fourth row, from left, is "Rep" Sinsel, Leonard Fowler, W.B. "Bill" Snyder, Earl Kester, Delbert McDaniel and J.D. Mason.
This photo was taken nealry 100 years ago and shows Main Street Follansbee in 1920. If anyone knows how it compares to the look today, please comment below.
