About You Mistletoe Shoppe Open House is Saturday; Market is Open through the Holidays

By Julie Perine on November 07, 2025

As stocked with goodies as Santa’s workshop, About You Monogram’s Mistletoe Shoppe holiday market its doors for the first time Saturday. Every nook and cranny of the large white tent set up next to the store features nostalgic/classic-inspired ceramic functional décor, apparel that can be personalized, toys and other children’s novelties, candles, soaps, and many other unique treasures.

Families can make Christmas magical with products like Reindeer Dust magical reindeer food, Melting Snowman, light up ice cubes, the Santa’s Beard storybook and an array of other holiday items.

“Advent calendars are big this year,” Lang said, pointing out Teleties hair accessories and “12 Days of Tea” countdowns.

Mixes to whip up everything from kitchen treats to cocktails are on the shelves, as is the original just add water Snow.

“That’s for our friends who live in warm states,” Lang said.

Shipping is, by the way, available for all products.

Holiday kitchen towels and cutting/charcuterie boards specific to West Virginia and Bridgeport are available for purchase, as is the About You’s exclusive candle line.

“We design these fragrances,” said Lang about the cinnamon nutmeg scented Christmas Magic and the cranberry mandarin-scented “Tis the Season.”

In addition to a few tried and true favorites, most lines and items are new to About You Monograms. Included are the Swig Life insulated Santa mugs, Bourbon and Bowties jewelry, and La Bubu keychains, expected to be in high demand.

Lang first brought the holiday shop to About You Monograms in 2021 and it still has the same inspiration behind it.

“It has a New York City vibe,” she said. “We got the idea from visiting Bryant Park and the holiday stores there.”

The items themselves have been discovered by various markets Lang has attended.

“We truly do have a little bit of everything,” she said.

Items for men include the exclusive Mountaineer bourbon decanter and glasses, regionally made hot sauces, and of course, personalized items.

In addition to the Holiday Market tent, the store itself is plentiful with seasonal items, many which can be monogrammed by in-house seamstress Katherine Hughes. Also featured are some of the store’s popular lines like Nora Fleming and Ink + Alloy.

Saturday’s open house will be open 8 a.m. through 1 p.m. To heighten the atmosphere, there will be outdoor seating with a fireplace and hot beverages served.

“We’ll also have discounts and giveaways,” Lang said.

About You and the Mistletoe Shoppe will be open 10-6 Tuesday, 10-5 Wednesday and Thursday, 10-3 Friday and 9-1 Saturday throughout the holidays season.
