Area Fireman Dies in Line of Duty During Easter Blaze

A Sunday fire in the region turned tragic on Easter as a local first reponder lost their life, according to a post on the Albright Volunteer Fire Department Facebook page.
 
Charles W. Miller, who had nearly 30 years of service, passed away in the line of duty. Miller was a captain with the department.
 
The post reads as follows: 
 
"It is with a very sad heart that I announce that Albright Volunteer Fire Department located in Preston County WV has lost one of our own in a Line Of Duty death today while responding to our station for a Brush Fire Charles W. Miller was a Captain with 29 years of service. RIP brother and we will take it from here. Please keep the Miller family and the members of Albright Company 1 in your thoughts and prayers as we morn the loss of our dedicated brother."
