BHS '21 Graduate Luke Brovey Receives White Coat at the West Virginia Osteopathic School of Medicine

Luke Brovey, a 2021 Bridgeport High School graduate, received his White Coat on Sept. 12 at the West Virginia Osteopathic School of Medicine in Lewisburg. Prior to WVSOM Brovey was a scribe in the Emergency Department of WVU Medicine United Hospital Center. Brovey was a 2025 graduate of Fairmont State University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
During the event, Brovey was coated by his friend and mentor Dr. Kelsey Full, D.O. Emergency Medicine WVU Medicine United Hospital Center and a WVSOM graduate 2020.
Brovey will be part of the graduating class of 2029 at WVSOM. His brother Cole Brovey BSN, RN is a Nurse Supervisor at WVU Medicine United Hospital Center, 6th South Med/Surg/Oncology.
Brovey plans on returning to the area and specializing in Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine in the North Central West Virginia region. His parents are Michael and Gerry Lynn Brovey of Bridgeport.
