Bridgeport Police Gets Upper Hand in Charity Softball Game vs. Clarksburg, but Challenger League Wins

Bridgeport’s Police Department managed to get the victory over the Clarksburg Police Department in a softball matchup Sunday at The Bridge Sports Complex. But the real winner was the Challenger League of Bridgeport Little League Baseball.
The two teams were joined by members of the community for a night of competition between the two cities that was held for all the right reasons. Those involved appreciate the community’s support of the contest and of Challenger Little League.
Organizers are hoping to compete once again next year.
