City Students Take Top Spots in County Spelling Bee

A trio of Bridgeport school students took home the top honors in the 2025–26 Harrison County Spelling Bee that was recently held.
In first place was Lily Dahl. Dahl is a seventh grade student at Bridgeport Middle School
Taking second place was Isabel Boyce. She is a fifth grade student at Simpson Elementary School.
Finishing as the alternate was Gentry Wininger. Wininger is a seventh grade student at Heritage Christian School.
