City's Paving and Milling Program to Begin on Monday

FROM THE CITY OF BRIDGEPORT
Contractors will begin work on the following streets beginning Monday, Sept. 22 (in this order):
A portion of Sherwood Road, Sherwood Circle, Gateway Drive, Philadelphia Avenue from Virginia Avenue intersection to Worthington Avenue intersection, Olive Street & Willis Avenue Intersection, First Street alley, lower Fourth Street, Geneva Street, and Newton Avenue.
Expect lane shifts, flaggers, and brief delays. Please avoid on-street parking in work zones during daytime hours. Work is weather-dependent.
