Crews Extricate Pair of Individuals from Car Pinned on Guardrail after Collision with Oversized Load Truck

Two individuals were injured on Davisson Run Road in a late Tuesday morning accident in Harrison County that required extrication on those inside the vehicle.
According to the Reynoldsville Volunteer Fire Department, the call went out Feb. 3 at 11:38 a.m. The report was on a vehicle accident with injuries.
Upon arrival, first responders noted that the vehicle was pinned against the guardrail after being struck by an oversized load vehicle. The collision created access issues to the driver’s side due to extensive damage. Nutter Fort Volunteer Fire Department was added to the assignment for extrication of the two patients.
It took just under 10 minutes to get the two individuals out of the vehicle. Once extricated, crews assisted the emergency squad on hand with patient packaging and also assisted the West Virginia Department of Transportation with traffic control as they conducted their investigation.
