DHHR Reports Harrison County's Number of COVID-19 Cases Now at 61; State Total Increases by 18

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources is reporting as of this morning (Tuesday, June 30) at 10 a.m., the total number of COVID-19 cases has increased from 2,870 to 2,888; an increase of 18.
Tuesday morning's report is showing that the total number of tests given is 170,497 and the percentage of positive cases vs. tests given is at 1.69 percent. The daily percent positive is at 2.51 percent (daily tests/confirmatory test results).
According to the DHHR website, Harrison County's numbers are at 61 confirmed cases, 0 probable case, 23 active cases, one death and 37 recoveries.
As case surveillance continues at the local health department level, it may reveal that those tested in a certain county may not be a resident of that county, or even the state as an individual in question may have crossed the state border to be tested.
Also, the DHHR is reporting the number of statewide deaths is still at 93.
The number of recoveries from the virus is at 2,225 with active cases at 570.
