Dan Cava GMC Set to Host Tools for Teachers School Supply Drive for Teachers at Meadowbrook Mall

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on August 11, 2026

Meadowbrook Mall and Dan Cava GMC are hosting a Back to School event focused on giving back to the community. On the first weekend following students’ return to school, teachers will be able to pick up much needed school supply kits to enhance their classrooms at the Tools for Teachers event. This is a community driven event dedicated to supporting and celebrating our local educators. Tools for Teachers will be hosted at Meadowbrook Mall on August 22, 11am – 1pm.

At Tools for Teachers, Dan Cava GMC is working with Meadowbrook Mall and local nonprofits to create 200 school supply kits to distribute. By distributing classroom essentials, Tools for Teachers hopes to ease the burden on educators and ensure every student has access to the tools needed to learn and thrive. This is also a great opportunity to create connections with fellow teachers and the community. In addition to receiving school supplies, teachers will be able to connect with other educators, share ideas, and network with nonprofits and other community partners.

To claim a school supply kit at Tools for Teachers, a teacher will only need to arrive at this event and present a teacher ID. Teachers may also pre-register for an Express line on our Eventbrite page, but will still need to present their teacher IDs at the event.

Meadowbrook Mall is located on Interstate 79, Exit 121, in Bridgeport, West Virginia.  It has been serving the people of the Bridgeport/Clarksburg area since 1982.
