Lori Elaine Knight Stiles, 50, of North View, passed away on January 5, 2022, at Berkeley Medical Center, with her immediate family by her side and her extended family there in spirit.

 

Lori was the dearly loved spouse of Michael Stiles. She was the adored mother of Emma Elaine Stiles (11), and the much-loved daughter of Larry Knight and Virginia Horne-Knight of Clarksburg, WV.

 

Born on January 6, 1971, in Clarksburg, WV, Lori was a corporate trainer, an educator, a freelance photographer, and finally a stay-at-home parent. She also worked in the sports department for the Clarksburg Exponent in high school and college. She was also the proud “Drama Mama” of the Musselman High School Theatre Program, where her husband served as director.

 

She is survived by her husband, Michael Wayne; their daughter, Emma Elaine; and her parents, Larry Knight and Ginny Horne Knight. She will be fondly remembered by the many family members, found family, friends, former students, coworkers, and colleagues, all of whom will miss her smile, generosity, intelligence, wit, beauty of spirit, kindnesses, and sense of humor.

 

Family received friends in Berkeley County on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

 

An additional visitation is scheduled for Friday, January 14 at the Evangel Baptist Church, 553 E. Main St. in Bridgeport, West Virginia, from 11 a.m. to noon. The funeral service will follow at noon with Pastor Jeffery Ramsey officiating. The family requests that masks be worn at all services by everyone attending.
