Interstate Shut Down at Lost Creek Due to Coal Truck Fire

UPDATE: The interstate is open, both northbound and southbound lanes, but moving slowly. Just before 9 a.m., a two-vehicle accident took place at the 114 mile marker (Quiet Dell) southbound, with one patient being transported to United Hospital Center. 
 
Original report earlier this morning: According to the Harrison County 911 incident log, all lanes of I-79 have been temporarily shut down at the 112 mile marker near Lost Creek due to a morning coal truck fire. The incident was reported with injury. Lost Creek, Jane Lew, Anmoore and Nutter Fort fire departments responded, as well as Harrison County emergency units and West Virginia State Police. The fire was reported at 6:40 a.m. It was reported that the truck rolled multiple times and that the cab was fully engulfed.
