Justice Extends Statewide School Closure to April 20; Tax deadlines Also Extended

West Virginia Governor Jim Justice had two big annoucements during his Wednesday press briefing before exiting early to deal with matters with the White House.
 
One involves state schools and the Governor said the statewide closure will be extended to Monday, April 20.
 
"I'm very hopeful that our kids will be able to go back to school but they are not there yet by any stretch of the imagination," Justice said.
 
The Governor also announced the deadline for filing state imcome tax has been extended from April 15 to July 15 and that he is waving interest and penalty taxes on property taxes until May 1.
