Having recently returned to teaching following maternity leave, Madame Deanna Garrett of Bridgeport High School was excited to try some new teaching strategies with her French students. Due to the current closing of schools due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Garrett improvised on deliverying that strategy -  TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Story Telling) - by utilizing her family members to create videos to share with her students. This week, Garrett incorporated the program into her introductory French 2 lesson, taught via Schoology.

Garrett said the remainder of this week's lessons are based on the same structure and vocabulary.  Students will also be assigned reading, answering questions, translating and making their own short videos for submission through the Schoology program.
