New Shelter, Restroom Area Done at Pickleball Courts

The City of Bridgeport recently announced that the new shelter and restroom area at the pickleball courts at Deegan and Hinkle Lakes is now complete.
The heavily used facility will likely see substantial use at the shelter.
Officials say the work was completed by the City of Bridgeport Public Works Department. Among the last details was concrete work, which the department has its own crew that handles jobs of that nature.
Along with the work being finished on the new addition, the restrooms are now reopened for use.
