By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on December 10, 2025 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

A highly popular national chain with one location in West Virginia will be opening a new site in North Central West Virginia likely later this year or early next year.

According to a post from the Town of Granville, West Virginia Facebook page, a Nothing Bundt Cakes location is on its way to Monongalia County. It will located at the University Town Centre.

The post said they do not have information on the date of its opening, but signage is already saying "Baking Soon."

Nothing Bundt Cakes has grown significantly, with reports indicating around 700 locations across the U.S. and Canada as of late 2025, up from over 600 by mid-2024, as the company aims for 1,000 locations by 2027. It has one other West Virginia location in Tridelphia, which is near Wheeling.

Nothing Bundt Cakes features a menu centered on its signature bundt cakes, available in various sizes (Bundtlets, 8", 10", tiered) and classic flavors like Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Red Velvet, Lemon, Carrot, and White Chocolate Raspberry, all topped with rich cream cheese frosting, plus seasonal specials, bite-sized Bundtinis, and gluten-free options.

Check back to Connect-Bridgeport for more details when they become available.
