Section of Meadowbrook Road Seeing Lane Closure into Friday; Delays Expected Due to Recent Slide

FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, DISTRICT FOUR OFFICE
Due to a slide Monday night, May 23, 2022, Harrison County Route 24, Meadowbrook Road, has one lane closed at milepost 7.34, next to the intersection of US 19 (Shinnston Pike) and County Route 24 (Meadowbrook Road).
The lane will be closed until work is completed Friday, May 27, 2022.
Flaggers will be on-site during working hours, and a stop sign and notice to alternate with oncoming traffic will be used during off hours.
Detour routes are: US 19 (Shinnston Pike) to WV 131 (Saltwell Road) to I-79, or US 19 (Shinnston Pike) to US 50 to I-79. Motorists are advised to plan and allow additional time for their commute.
Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
