Welcome to West Virginia, where you can do many adventurous things, including soar over America’s newest National Park, the New River Gorge, on a World War II biplane…and yes, the experience is definitely every bit as epic as it sounds.

West Virginia's stunning New River Gorge has been getting some major attention lately, thanks to recent legislation that shifted it from a National River to a full-fledged National Park and Preserve.

And it's about time this iconic gorge got the recognition it deserves.

The re-designation of the New River Gorge means more tourism dollars are in store for the area, as visitors eager to mark National Parks off their bucket list flock to America's newest.
And while there are many good ways to see the gorge, perhaps the best, most memorable option is by WWII biplane.
