Timberline Skiing Accident Leaves One Person Dead

According to a social media post, a guest of the Timberline Mountain Resort in Davis, in Tucker, died while skiing this week. Details as to what transpired are minimal.
The post, which is taken from the Timberline Mountain Facebook page, reads as follows:
"We are heartbroken to share the news of a fatality of a guest while skiing at Timberline Mountain on Wednesday, March 12th. We want to express our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones affected by this tragedy.
"The incident remains under investigation. We ask for the community’s understanding that out of respect for the family, we have no further details to share at this time.
"We are immensely grateful to our ski patrol, staff, and local first responders for their swift and professional efforts. Our thoughts are with all those impacted by this devastating event.
"Timberline Mountain is committed to the safety and well-being of our guests. Thank you for your support and compassion during this difficult time."
