Timothy Smith is the UHC July 2026 iCARE Recipient

WVU Medicine United Hospital Center (UHC) is excited to announce that this month’s iCARE Award was presented to Timothy Smith, BSN, RN, for being recognized by patients/families for exceeding expectations and motivating others to emulate his following attributes:

A=Anticipate Needs
R=Respond with Kindness
E=Exceed expectations
Timothy was awarded a Thank You iCARE card, an iRound Because iCARE pin, and a gift card of his choice. A special thank you to Dan Cava GMC, which has partnered with UHC to sponsor the gift cards for iCARE Award recipients.
This monthly award is based on feedback from iRound recognition reports generated by patients and their families. iRound is a web-based reporting and analytics system that helps to improve the patient experience.
