Traffic Delays to Greet Travelers North of City on I-68 Bridge through Mid-Fall, 2027, for Deck Replacement

There will be a traffic delay on the Interstate 68/ US 119 overpass bridge, starting 7:00 a.m., that began Tuesday, September 2, 2025, and will last until mid-fall 2027, for replacement of the bridge deck, bearings and expansion. During construction two lanes will remain open in each direction, but delays could occur.
Expect delays. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.
Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
