Trio from Bridgeport among Four Individuals Appointed to Various Vandalia, Mon Health Board of Directors

Vandalia Health proudly announces the appointment of new members to the boards of directors of Vandalia Health Mon Medical Center in Morgantown and Vandalia Health Mon Marion Neighborhood Hospital in White Hall, as well as Vandalia Health Mon Harrison
Neighborhood Hospital, currently under construction at Charles Pointe Crossing in Bridgeport.
These community leaders bring extensive professional experience and a shared dedication to advancing Vandalia Health’s mission of enhancing the health of the communities it serves.
“Strong, engaged leadership is essential as we continue to expand access to exceptional care across north central West Virginia,” said David Goldberg, President and CEO of Mon Health System and Davis Health System-Vandalia Health Northern Region and Executive Vice President of Vandalia Health. “These accomplished individuals represent the very best of our communities and will play an important role in guiding our hospitals’ continued success.”

Andria Alvarez Wymer
Andria Alvarez Wymer serves as director of strategic initiatives and planning for Applied Construction Solutions and Energy Transportation LLC in Bridgeport. A third-generation member of the family businesses, she oversees programs and projects advancing both companies’ short- and long-term goals.
Wymer serves on the boards of the Gas and Oil Association of West Virginia (GOWV) and the Associated Builders and Contractors of West Virginia (ABCWV), where she served as board chair in 2023. She is also active with ABC National, CAWV, and the Federal Reserve
North Central West Virginia Industry Round Table, and volunteers with Building Hope and the Medbrook Children’s Charity.
A graduate of West Virginia University with degrees in public relations and multidisciplinary studies and an MBA, Wymer was named among the Generation Next 40 Under 40 class of 2020 and featured as a Woman Leader in Construction by CAWV in 2018. She was also recently named to West Virginia Executive Magazine’s Young Guns class of 2026.
Stephanie L. Stovash
Stephanie Stovash is a longtime Morgantown business leader and philanthropist whose professional career spans more than three decades in the drilling and construction industries.
After graduating from Morgantown High School and West Virginia Career College, she worked for Mountain State Bit Service Inc. for 32 years, advancing to vice president in 1990. She later founded SJL Drilling Services LLC, serving as president until her retirement in 2007. Stovash has been a dedicated member of the Mon Health Medical Center Foundation since 2001, including three years as vice chair, and has been a major supporter of both the Mon Health Medical Center Foundation and Mon Health Medical Center Auxiliary. She was honored as the Morgantown Chapter of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Woman of the Year in 1999 and currently serves on the board of PACE Enterprises. Stovash and her husband, Ron, remain deeply committed to community service and supporting Vandalia Health’s mission through
philanthropy and leadership.

Michael J. Romano, J.D., C.P.A.
Michael Romano is an attorney and certified public accountant based in Clarksburg, where he has practiced law for more than three decades with a focus on complex litigation and corporate matters. His career has included service with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and KPMG, and leadership in numerous state and local economic development organizations.
Romano has served as a West Virginia state senator and Harrison County commissioner and is president of the Harrison County Economic Development Authority. He holds degrees in accounting and law from West Virginia University and is widely recognized for his professional excellence, including Best Lawyers in America and West Virginia Super Lawyers honors.
Meredith Queen
Meredith Queen is a speech-language pathologist and owner of Playology Pediatric Therapy in Bridgeport, a practice providing speech, language and literacy therapy for children across Harrison and Doddridge counties.
A graduate of West Virginia University and the University of Cincinnati, Queen previously worked as a speech pathologist in the Harrison and Marion County school systems before opening her own practice in 2020. She is active in numerous community and philanthropic organizations, serving as an officer for Miss Amazing West Virginia and as the 2025 campaign chair for the United Way of Harrison and Doddridge Counties. Queen also teaches Sunday school at Simpson Creek Baptist Church.
She resides in Bridgeport with her husband, entrepreneur and state Sen. Ben Queen, and their son, Arthur.
