An alert from the City of Bridgeport is asking for motorists to avoid Benedum Drive or State Route 131 as a result of the ongoing storm in the area.

 

The alert says that multiple trees are down in the area. The notice was sent at 5:36 p.m.

Another Harrison County alert is stating the National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning until 8 p.m. The alert says several inches of rain have already fallen and more is on the way. The alert is advising to not drive on flooded roadways. The alert came at 5:45 p.m.
