Off the Shelf: Library at the Bridgeport Farmers & Makers Market

The library has been a mainstay at the Bridgeport Farmer’s Market for several years, and we are continuing that tradition this year at the new Bridgeport Farmers & Makers Market.
Each month you can catch us twice at the market, and this year, we are increasing our involvement in new ways.
On the second Sunday each month, we will be at the new Nonprofit Tent.
As in previous years, we will set up a table.
Weather permitting, we will bring library card applications, so you can sign up for a library card right there at the market.
We also hope to bring other activities like a pop-up library, our portable 3D printer to do a live demonstration, and plenty of fun freebies you can take home like seeds from our seed library among other things.
We hope you will stop by and see us!
We will be bringing tons of fun with us on the third Sunday of each month, including opening day at the market on Sunday, May 17.
Come see us at the Kids Corner, where we will be putting on a live storytime show.
Each month’s storytime will be a new show and a different theme, so each visit will be a different experience.
If you stop by in the middle of the story, no worries because we will repeat the story several times during the market that way everyone can have a chance to watch.
To see a full list of our upcoming market days and the theme of each Kids’ Corner storytime, please visit our website: https://bplwv.org/farmers-market-17578.
We are so glad to be a part of our community farmer’s market each year, and we are excited to see how the market develops.
