Bridgeport Boys Basketball Tied for 4th in Week 11 Coaches Poll

The Bridgeport Indians boys basketball team has some company in the latest West Virginia Schools Athletic Coaches Association (WVSACA) poll for Week 11.
Bridgeport is now tied with Winfield for fourth in Class AAA with 83 votes, trailing three teams they’ve lost to this year: Capital (7 first-place votes, 118 total votes), North Marion (2 first-place votes, 109 total) and Chapmanville (1 first-place vote, 106 total).
East Fairmont (64) is sixth, just ahead of Ripley (60).
Nitro (22), Shady Spring (21) and Fairmont Senior (19) are tightly packed in spots 8-10.
Bridgeport enters the final full week of the regular season with a 16-4 mark, having pounded Robert C. Byrd, which dropped out of the top 10 this week, by a 61-38 final on Feb. 20.
The Tribe is at Fairmont Senior on Feb. 25 and hosts Grafton on Feb. 27 before entering regional tournament play.
In other classes, Greater Beckley Christian leap-frogged Tug Valley for the top spot in Class A, while Wheeling Central (Class AA) and George Washington (Class AAAA) retained their No. 1 slots for another week.
