Bridgeport to Play Saturday Contest at Jamison Field as PikeView Picks 1 P.M. to Start Class AAA Playoffs

By Jeff Toquinto on November 09, 2025

Bridgeport High School Athletic Director Tom Sears confirmed that Bridgeport and PikeView will meet in the opening round of the Class AAA postseason on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Wayne Jamison Field.

The Panthers, as the visitors, had the choice of time and day. PHS will be traveling from Princeton as part of a near 170 mile trip that will be in the three-hour range by bus.

The decision was made today at the WVSSAC offices in Parkersburg. All teams met to determine when, and where, first round playoff games in all four classifications will take place.

BHS will go into the AAA field as the No. 1 seed at 10-0. PikeView is the No. 16 seed and has a record of 7-3.

PikeView is coming off of a 56-48 win against Buffalo. The Indians are coming off a bye week.

The Panthers six other wins have come against Summer County, Liberty Raleigh, Shady Spring, Sissonville, Wyoming East, and Roanoke Catholic of Virginia.
